AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF AI: ORDINAPTCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO TRAFFIC AND REGULATING USE OF PUBLIC
STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH; DEFINING AND ESTABLISHING PARKING
METER ZONES AND REGLLATING AND CONTROLLING AND PROVIDING FOR
INSPECTION OF THE TITLE PARKING OF VEHICLES THEREIN Bi THE USE
OF PARKING TdETERS; PRESCRIBING LIMITS OF TITHE FOR PARKING IN
PARKING TIETER ZONES; AND PROVIDING FOR ENFORCE?+`ENT OF THIS
ORDINANCE AND PUNISIDIENT FOR ITS VIOLATION", WHICH WAS ADOPTED
BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON JUNE 9, 1946 AND WAS AMENDED
ON NOVEMBER 11, 1947
BE IT ORDAIIIED BY THE EOARD OF COI-IMI33IONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCI:Y:
SECTION 1. That c3ection 2 of an ordinance containing the
title ouoted above, :ehich was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on July 9, 1946 and amended on November 11, 1947, be and the same
is hereby amended so that said section as amended shall read as
follows:
"Section 2. The following portions of streets are hereby
established as parking meter zones:
1. That portion of Eroadway from the vest curb line of �
Second Street to the east curb line of Seventh street extending
from the south curb line of Broadway toward the center of said
street a distance of seven feet and eight inches.
2. That portion of Eroadway from the west curb line of
Second street to the east curb line of Seventh Street extending
from the north curb line of Broadway toward the center of said
street seven feet and ei4ht inches.
3. That portion of Third Street from the south curb line of
Jefferson Street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue extending
from the east curb line of Third Street toward the center of said
street seven feet and eight inches.
4. That portion of Third Street from the south curb line of
Jefferson Street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue ex-
tending from the west curb line of Third Street toward the center
of said street seven feet and eight inches.
5. That portion of Fourth Street from the south curb line o
Jefferson Street to the north curb line of Kentucky :venue ex-
tendin�3 from the east curb line of Fourth Street toward the center
of said street a distance of seven feet and eiCht inches.
6. That portion of Fourth Street from the south curb line o
Jefferson Street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue ex-
tending from the west curb line of Fourth Street a distance of
seven feet and eight inches.

7. That portion of Fifth Street from the south curb line of
Broadway Street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue ex-
tending; from the east curb line of Fifth Street toward the center

of said street a distance of seven feet and eight inches.
S. That portion of Kentucky Avenue from the west curb line
of Second Street to the Fast curb line of Sixth Street extending
from the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue toward the center of
said street seven feet and eight inches.
9. That portion of Kentucky Avenue extending from the west
curb line of Second Street to the East curb line of Sixth Street
extendin from the south curb line of Kentucky Avenue toward the
center of said street seven feet an? ei;rht inches.
10. That portion of Jefferson Street from the west curb
line of Third Street to the east curb line of Sixth Street ex-
tending from the north curb line of Jefferson street toward the
center of said street seven feet and eight inches.
11. That portion of Jefferson street from the west curb line
of Third Street to the east curb line of Sixth Street extending from
the south curb line of Jefferson street toward the center of said
street seven feet and eiPht inches.
12. That portion of Fifth Street from the south curb
line of Jefferson street to the north curb line of Kentucky
Avenue extending from the west curb line of Fifth street toward
the center of said street seven feet and eight inches.
13. That portion of Fifth street from the south curb line
of Jefferson street to the north curb line of ^nroadway
extending from the east curb line of Fifth Street toward the
center of said street seven feet and eight inches.
14. That portion of Sixth street from the south curb line
of Jefferson street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue
extending from th= west curb line of Six.th street toward the
center of said street seven feet and eight inches.
15. That portion of Sixth street from the south curb line
of Jefferson street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue
extending from the east curb line of Sixth street toward the
center of said street seven feet and eight inches.

16. That portion of Fourth street from the south curb line
of Kentucky Avenue to the north curb line of the alley in rear of
the city hall extending from the east cir b line of Fourth street
toward the center of said street seven feet and eiht inches.
Provided, however, there shall not be included within
any of the aforesaid meter zones those portions of said zones
which cross any one of the aforesaid streets at its intersection
with another street.

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are, to the extort of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
