AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED OF
CONVEYANCE TO A STRIP OF LAID of LAND RUNNING ALONG THE END OF /
BLOCK 24 AS SHOWN BY PLAT BOOK "A", AT PAGE 3 IN THE MCCRACKEN
COUNTY COURT CLERK'S OFFICE IN CONSIDERATION OF THE PAYMENT OF' THE
SUM OF 059.00 TO THE OWNERS OF SAID PROPERTY
WHEREAS, in a suit for the sale of real estate for the
satisfaction of taxes a public alley 30 feet in width and 370
feet in length running along the southwest end of Block 24 as
shown by Plat Book "A", page 3, in the McCracken County Court
Clerk's Office vias erroneously sold and John W. Watters became
the purchaser for the sum of j57.00.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah accept of John W. 1%tters and hi
wife, Beulah Lee Watters a deed to the public alley 30 feet in wid
and 370 feet in length running along the southwest end of Block 24
as shown by Plat Book "A", page 3, in the McCracken County Court
Clerk's Office, in consideration of the payment to them of the sum
of $159.00, and that the amount so paid be charged to the Contingen'
Fund after the adoption of the Apportionment Ordinance for the
year 1947.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
