THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, it will be of -reat benefit to the City of
Paducah that the belt line hi,hviay be completed as soon as possible
and
V=iEREAS, the state is responsible for the e-,penditure of
Federal funds earmar:ced for urban izihaays;
IT RESOLVED That Governor Earl C. Clements and
Commissioner of rii.hways Garrett L. :Zithers be urCed to make
arrangements for completion of the belt line highway through
Paducah, including an underpass under the P. b I. Railroad on
Jackson Street, as soon as available funds will permit such
action, and that a copy of this resolution be submitted to
Governor Clements and Commissioner '.ithers.
