FEES A'M C"ARGES FOR 1dA=N': INSPECTIOv3", which was adopted by
the roard of Commi.sioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, on
September 7, 1937, and amended on January 20, 1942, be and the
sarie is hereby amended and reordained so that said section as
amended and reordained shall read as follor.s:
"SECTION 2. F^r the pur ose of carryin- into effect the
provisions of this ordinance the position of Elecrrical Inspector
is hereby created and established in the Engineering Department
of the City of Paducah, Bald Electrical Inspector to be appointed
Icy [-.he City Itianager and to crork under the supervision of the City
Engineer and City Manager. The person ar.pointed as Electrical
inspector shall be qualified by at least four ,,•ears experience as
a journeyman electrical worker in the practice of his trade.
The position of Electrical Inspector shall not be filled b, a
person employed by the city in another position. After April 30,
1943, the 'Electrical Inspector shall be employed on a full
time basis and shall not perform any electricgl wore for
remuneration ether than his official electrical inspection
duties. In addition to such inspection duties he shall perform
such other duties as may be asci-ned by the City Engineer or
,it,,- .,:analor. The Llectrical Inspector shall collect, account
for and pay to the City ^reasurer the fees and champs provided
in Section 3 hereof, and for his services ha s!^all be paid at
he end of each month until and ine.lud:in, April 300 1948,
Lixty-six and two-thirds (66 2/3;1') percent of such fees and
Ihar,,es paid to the City Treasurer; after ?.pril 3C, 1943, he
shall be paid a monthly salary of Two Hundred and 7lventy-five
UIC' 5.00) iollars and a travel allowance of TWenty-five (1,25.00)
Dollars per month if his 0Wn car is used while performing officis
inspection duties.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
