BE IT ORDAINED D: THE BOARD OF COi::1,:I,;6IONS OF THE CITY
OF PADU!'•AH, KENTUCKY:
SECTIO'.: 1.
That a certain fifteen foot street -known as Dupee Street 1
the Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery used for the burial of colored
persons, said street beginning at the south property line of Ford
Street and extendinZ in a southerly direction to the North propert
line of "'eil avenue, be and the same is hereby vacated, closed
and discontinued for use as a street, that the area comprising sai
street be used as burial lots for the interment of colored persons
the lots to be platted by the City EnEineer and sold for use as
s[nlle graves according to the numbers assigned to them by the
City En.^ineer as shorn on said plat, and that said lots for use as
single graves be sold fo±. .20.00 each.
SECTION 2.
That lots Nos. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17
and 18 in Elock 5, of the Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery be made
available for the interment of colored persons, and that the
aforesaid lots be sold for the sum of ,:125.00 each.
SECTIO?I 3.
This ordinance s! -z11 be in full force and effect from
cnc' after its adoption.
