BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SEC TION 1.
That Section 4 of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE
PRESCRIrING THE RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE POLICE DEPART41ENT LQ
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PRESCRIBING THE QUALIFICATIONS,
POINERS AND DUTIES AND FIXING THE COPiPENSATION OF THE 14EMBERS OF
THE POLICE DEPARTe,:ENT, PROVIDING A SEPARABILITY CLAUSE, AND
REPEALING ALL ORDI?a?;c ES IN CONFLICT TIEREYdITH", which was adopted
by the Board of Commissioners on January 7, 1947, be and the
same is hereby amended so that said Section as amended shall
read as follows:
SECTION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
"Section 4. Salaries and
Rank of Regular Policemen
Regular policemen shall receive such
salaries as may
be
provided for in the annual apportionment
ordinance, or
in any
emergency appropriation ordinance.
The rank of the members of
the Police
repartment and
the
salaries to be paid to them,
provided said
salaries are
not
changed by any annual apportionment ordinance hereinafter
adopted, shall be as follows:

SECTION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
