AN ORDINANCE TO FURTHER REGULATE THE PARKING OF
VEHICLES ON KENTUCKY AVENUE BETWEEN 3rd STREET AND 4TH STREET
IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; PRESCRIBING THE PENALTY FOR
VIOLATION THEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
THEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO1MdISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company
or corporation to park or leave standing for any purpose a
vehicle of any kind on Kentucky Avenue between 3rd Street
and 4th street in the city of Paducah, Kentucky, for a longer
period than one (1) hour between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and
6:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
of each week and between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
on Saturday of each week.
SEC TION 2.
Vehicles parked as provided herein shall be left
standing parallel with the curb in the spaces provided for
that purpose and it shall be unlawful for the operator of any
vehicle to park or leave the same standing at right angles
to the curb.
SEC TI ON 3.
Any person, firm, company or corporation violating
the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than
$1.00 nor more than $25.00, and each time any vehicle is parked
within the aforesaid block for more than one (1) hour during the
time prohibited in section 1 hereof shall be construed to be a
separate offense.
SECTION 4.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SEC TION 5.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
