Home My WebLink AboutOrdinances Book 11, Page 213, No Ordinance Number4- 213 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT WITHIN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, OF AN ACT OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF KENTUCKY ADOPTED IN 1928, COMMONLY KNOWN AND REFERRED TO AS 'THE CITY PLANNING AND ZONING LAW1 ", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 17TH, 1928, AND AMENDED ON NOVEMBER 26, 1946 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SEC TION 1. That Section 5 of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT WITHIN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, OF AN ACT OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF TrIE STATE OF KENTUCKY ADOPTED IN 1928, COMMONLY KNOWN AND REFERRED TO AS 'THE CITY PLANNING AND ZONING LAW' ", which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 17th, 1928, and amended on November 26, 1946, be and the same is hereby amended so that said Section as amended shall read as follows: "SECTION 5. Before issuing any Building Permit or Certificate of Occupancy of any kind for a gasoline filling station, automobile repair shop, public garage or parking lot, stable, lunch stand or fruit or vegetable stand, tourist court or tourist cabins, motel, slaughter house, factory of any kind, warehouse, road house or chemical works, the application th6refor shall be first submitted to and approved by said City Planning and Zoning Commission, and as so approved by said City Planning and Zoning -Commission, the same shall then be submitted to the Building Inspector in said city for his consideration as other - vise provided by the law and ordinance." SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith ire, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SEC TION 3.
