'WHEREAS, under the plans which have been prepared for the con-
struction of a Eelt Line Fir:hway extendin, from the city limits on
the northerly side of the City of Paducah where Julia Street inter-
sects Eighth Street as extended to the intersection of Reeder Stree
and the Benton Road on the southerly side of the city, said route.
follo'^s Twenty-first Street, thence alon^ Coxey Street, across the
^ailrosd at the intersection or Coxey Street and Circle Street, and
thence follows a curve on the northerly side of Circle Street and
continues on on the northeast side of the Illinois Central right of
way until said route reaches the :Lenton Road at the intersection of
Reeder Street and menton Road; and,
Jv REAS, the placin- of a hi,hway on the northerly side of
Circle Street w-11 require the construction of a lar.ge embankment
for a considerable distance when, if said Highway follows a direct
route across the railroad right of way, and thence throu_-h the
Littleville Diatrict, considerable expense should be saved; and
'JE EREAS, by continuin^. the route alon. Twenty-first Street
thence alonf,, Coxey Jtreet directly across the railroad right of
Tray in a strai,ht line to and thsou.!-h Fulton Street in the Little-
ville District, ani thence across the railroad richt of gray in the
vicinity of either gown, Cully or Green Ntreets, said route will
afford the resider"ts of the Littleville nistrict more convenient
access to the main part of the -City of Paducah;

That. the City i:.nna-er be requested to sutmit to the Commisslo[ er
of Highways of the Common �slth of Kentucky a proposal to revise
the route over which,"tY:e Eelt Line Highway will be constructed, and
that the Commissioner of Hi;hways consider a revision of the plans
ty chanring the location of the route beginning at that point where
the Illinois Central Railroad Company's richt of way intersects
Coxey Street so that said route shall cross the railroad ri0ht of
wa,r directly into and throu7h the Littleville District on a strai h
line, intersecting I'ulton 3trect and following throu-h to the
railroad ri,'ht of tray on the sout'nerly side of Lnion Station and
intersecting the route as now proposed at or in the vicinity of
rown, or Cully or (:teen Street.

property of ttie\delinquent taxpayer under and pursuant to the pro-
visions of KRS 5$.670; and,
?,HEREAS, `the owner of said property has failed to redeem
the same within two years from the date of the sale thereof to the
City Treasurer; and,
TTEREAS, deed t'; said property Lias been executed and delivered
by said Treasurer to the Cit;, of Paducah as provided in I{RS 92.760;
and
.HEP—EAS, the City of aducah has received an offer for the
hereinafter described real estate and it is deemed advisable to
authorize the conveyance to the bidder for the amount offered by
him;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED E'I TH3 BOARD OF COLMISSIONER

SEC i70N 1.
That the ^•ity of Paducah accept the\ offer of Iuartha "olber
in the sum of 75.00 cash for the purchase of Lots 15 and 16 in bloc
"V' Yauheim Addition, a s shovim by plat recorded \fin Flat lnok "A",
ps,e 166 and 167, McCracken County Court Clerk's OYfice; and the

,eyor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a deed of con-
veyance tc said property for and on cehalf of the City.. of Faducah;
but without any covenant of warranty.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after ito adoption.

SECTION 2.
That a certified copy of this resolution be presented to t
Commissioner of Highways by the City Manager when the request for
a change in the route of said Belt Line Highway is made.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
