SECTION 1.
WThat upon the recommendation and request of the City Plann
�r
Ing and 'Zoning Comnission as shown by its final report embodied in
resolution adopted by it on September 19th, 1947, the following
described property is hereby declared to be a residential district
within the meaning of the City Planning and Zoning Commission Law
and to be used for residential purposes only:
"Both sides of Tennessee street, to the center of the block on
either side, from the west property line of Yurrell Lioulevard
to the east property.line of 13th street. On the east side of
11th street from the center line of the block between Tennessee
street and Jones street to Jones street, for a depth of 145 ';
on the east side of 11th street from Jones street to a point
112 feet north of Norton street, for a depth of 150 feet; on L -h
east side of 11th street from Norton street to Caldwell street,
for a depth of to^c feet: on the west side of 11th street from
the center line of the block between Tennessee and Jones street
to Jones street, for a depth of 155 feet; on the west side of
11th street from Jones street to a -:oint 52 feet north of _",,or -
ton street, for a depth of 158 feet; on the west side of 11th
street, from Norton street to Caldwell street, for a depth of
155 feet. "
SEC TIO! 2.
In order to further promote the general welfare of the
people in said district or zone and to'enhance the desirability of
same, all propertj within said area is subject to the following;
restrictions:
°Io residence shall be constructed on said property to cost less
than ',3000.00, and'no residence may be built on any lot unless
it fronts the street in the manner in avhich the lots are now
laid out, or in the manner in which the lots may later be re -
subdivided and aForoved b;y the City Planning and Zoning Board.
SECTION 3..
Any property owner, tenant or other person who erects,
constructs or reconstructs any Wilding in violation of or contrary
to the aforesaid provi:,ions of this ordinance, shall be deemed
rnillty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be finod

SEC TI ON 4.
Ibis ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
