LU SEC TION; 1.

W That upon the recommendation and request of the city
Planning and Zoning Commisslon,as shown b:r its final report
embodied in a resolution adopted by it on Larch 30th, 1944, al} of
the property on the 'Rest side of Georgia Street, extending backi.fo
depth 150 feet, from 29th Street to 30th Street, and all property
frpm 29th Street to 3017h Street and from a point 150 feet test of
Georgia Street to a point 150 feet west of ;?ississippi Street,
is hereby declared to be a residential district within the meaning
of the City Planning and mooning Commission Law and to be used for
residential purposes only.
SECTION 2.
In order to further promote the general welfare of the
people in said district or zone and to enhance tl.c desirability
of same, all property within said area is subject to the following
restrictions:
1. That all of the property on the '.°fest side of Georgia
Street extending back for depth 150 feet, from 29th 3tr
to 30th Street shall be residnntial property and no
business houses be permitted therein.
That no residence be permitted to Le constructed that
will cost less than ,52000.
2. That all property from 29th Street to cOth Street and
from a point 150 feet blest of Georgia Street to a
point 150 feet west of Mississippi Street be residential
property and no business houses be permitted therein.
That no residence be permitted to be constructed that vi
cost less t1 an "1500.00.
SEC TION.
Any property owner, tenant or other person who erects,
constructs or reconstructs any building in violation of or
contrary to the aforesaid provisions of this ordinance, shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall 'e
fined in any sum not less than k10.00 nor more than ,;100.00 for each
offense so committed and each day such offense is committed shall le
deemed a separate offense and shall be subject to a separate penalty
under the provisions hereof, or the person no offending or so guilty
of violation of the provisions hereof, may, in addition to such fi e
be imprisoned not more than fifty (50) days at the discretion of t11e

JEC TION 4.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 5.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
