BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COP31I3SIONERS OIC' THE CITY
�I OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:

SECTION 1.
That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized and
empowered to advertise for bids for the purchase of equipment
to be used in the cleaning of sewers, said equipment being
more particularly described in the statement hereto attached.
Bids shall be received by him not later than February .8th, 1944,
at 10:00 o1clock A.',1., and all bids shall be submitted under
�i seal. He shall advertise for bids by notice posted at the City
II fiall door and by inserting a notice of the request for bids in
at least one (1) issue of the sum -Democrat, and said notice shall
be published at least seven (7) days prior to the opening of bids.
No bids shall be received after the hour fixed for the opening of
tj 1bids, and they shall thereafter be filed with the L'oard of
Commissioners. If the amount of all bids shall exceed $1000.00
the contract shall be awarded by the Board of Commissioners, but
if all bids shall be less than ;;1000.00, it shall be awarded
by the City Manager.
SECTION 2.
I
The City shall reserve the right to reject any and all bids
and shall not become legally liable for the purchase of said
equipment until a written contract has been executed.
SECTION 3.'
This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
