"Qualifications for all men for the Fire -Department shall
be as follows: The applicant must be of the age required by statu,�
be.
He must be able to exhibit a certificate or other satisfactory
written evidence that he has completed the sixth grade of an el-
cmentary school. He must be a resident of the City of Paducah for,
the last three (3) years ',-elore tris appointment. Tle must be able
topa.ss an "A 1" physical examination and furnish references from
five (5) reputable citizens.
SECT1011 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
SECTIO'; 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
