"AN ORDINANCE CREATING AN IDENTIFICATION BUREAU IN THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH; PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT
OF A DIRECTOR THEREOF, PRESCRIBING HIS DUTIES AND FIXING THE
AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION WHICH HE SHALL RECEIVE FOR HIS SERVICES, AND

REPEALING ALL PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", WHICHI
WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON MARCH 3rd, 1942
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That Section 4 of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE
CREATING AN IDENTIFICATION BUREAU IN THE POLICE DEPART74ENT OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH; PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF A DIRECTOR THEREOF
PRESCRIBING HIS DUTIES AND FIXING THE AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION 'TE ICH
HE SHALL RECEIVE FOR HIS SERVICES, AND REPEALING ALL PROVISIONS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HTRE1,7ITH", which was adopted by the Eoard
of Commissioners on March 3rd, 1942, be and the same is hereby
amended so that said section as amended shall read as follows:
"Section 4. The person appointed as 'irector of
Identification shall be paid for his services the sum of $140.00
per month, together with the salary increase which all employees

of the City of Paducah will receive in the year 1942, .under the
Apportionment Ordinance adopted for said year, saia salary to be
paid to him at the same time and in the same manner as other
i
policemen are paid."
SECTION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.

SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
