II That the term "prostitution" as used in this Act shall be c-Instrued to include the giving or receiving of tine body for j ;sexual intercourse for hire, and shall also be construed to include the giving or receiving of the body for indiscriminate sexual intercourse without hire. That the term "lewdness" shall be construed to include any indecent or obscene act. That the term ''assignation" shall be construed to include the makinC of any appointment or engagement for prostitution or lewdness or any act in furtherence of such appointment or engagement. SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for any person in the City of Paducah �I Ito engage in prostitution or to aid or abet prostitution or to liprocure or solicit any person for the purposes of prostitution, �lor to keep or set up a house of ill -fame, brothel, or bawdy house, I for to receive any person for the purpose of lewdness, assignation I for prostitution into any vehicle, conveyance, place, structure or building, or to permit any person to remain for the purposes of le%-dness, assignation, or prostitution in any uehicle, conveyance, I(place. structure or building or to direct, take or transport, or to joffer or agree to take or transport any person to any vehicle, (conveyance, place, structure or building or to any other person with I I (knowledge or reasonable cause to know that the purposes of such directing, taking or transporting is prostitution, lewdness or I assignation, or to lease or rent or contract to lease or rent any vehicle, conveyance, place or structure, or building or part thereofj, knowmn.T or with good reason to know that it is intended to be used , for any of the purposes herein prohibited. SECTION 3. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall be fined not exceeding ;,200.00 or confined in the City Jail � for not more than one (1) tear, or both so fined and imprisoned.
