BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CO::il,;ISSIONERS OF THE
CIT! OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTIOI: 1.
The Mayor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, with the
approval of the Judge of the McCracken County Court, is hereby
authorized to appoint a board composed of five members to be
known as the "Board of Labor for Paducah and I•:cCracken County"
to work in conjunction with the City of Paducah and the L,cCracken
County Fiscal Court upon .labor and transportation problems which
Will arise in connection with the construction of the new ordinance
works. The members of said board shall serve for the duration of
the war but shall not receive any compensation for their services.
They shall, either upon their own initiative or when called upon
by the City or County, make a study of conditions affecting
laborers employed at the ordinance works, transportation facilities;
and any complication affecting the general health, safety and
welfare of persons engaged in such employment, and said board
,from time to time shall submit to the City and County its reconm-
endations for the improvement of such conditions.

SECTION 2.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
