A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO FIVE
HIS CONSIDERATION TO THE ADOPTION OF A PLAN PROVIDING A MORE
EQUITABLE APPORTIONMENT OF INSURANCE AP,iONG THE INSURANCE AGENTS
AND AGENCIES IN THE CITY
THEREAS, it is believed by the i.oard of Commissioners
that insurance policies insuring the properties and operations
of the City of Paducah should be distributed among agents on
such basis as will enable each to receive a fair and ueuitable
proportion of the business,

SECTION 1.
That the 'City Manager be requested to Sive his
li
consideration to the adoption of a plan for apportinning
all insurance between insurance agents and agencies doing
business in the City of Paducah on the basis of tie amount
of the occupational license taxes paid by the companies
represented by such agents or agencies. For the purpose of
carrying such plan into effect, it is suggested that the City
:'anagen immediately appoint a committee of insurance agents
to prepare and submit to him a schedule or program under which
each agent or agency will be assured of receivin_- that proportion
of the business Yo which he is entitled on suchbasis.
SEC TION 2.
This Resolution shall be in full f cr ce and e ffect
from and after its adoption.
