[r] C SECTION 1.
[Ij +•� That upon the recommendation and request of the
City Planning and Zoning Commission as shown by its final report
embodied in a resolution adopted by it on T..arch 26th, 1942, all of
the property in the O'Bryan Addition bounded on the Horth by Seitz
Street and the north boundary line of Blocks 14 and 15 in O'Bryan
Addition and the south line of Tennessee Street; on the East by the
boundary line of the business zone established on the i.ia;,yfield Road
and Mississ ippi Street; on the 'Nest by the east boundary line of
"rhittemore's Addition, and on the South by Schmidt Street,
is hereby declared to be a residential district within the meaning
of the City Planning and Zoning Commission Law and to be used for

residential purposes only_
SEC TION 2.
In order to further promote the general welfare of
the people in said district or zone and to enhance the desirability;

of same, all property within said area is subject to the following
restrictions:
1. That all of said Addition be residential
property and no business houses be
permitted therein, except as heretofore
zoned for business. !
2. That no residence be permitted to be
constructed that will cost less than ,;1000.00.

SECTION 3.
Any property owner, tenant or other person who
erects, constructs or reconstructs any building in violation of or
contrary to the aforesaid provisions of this -ordinance, shall be
Ceemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be
fined in any sum not less than „*)10.00 nor more than ,;P100.00 for each
;offense so committed and each day such offense is committed shall be
deemed a separate offense and shall be subject to a separate penalty
under the provisions hereof, or the person so offending oi, so guilt;

of violation of the provisions hereof, may, in addition to such fine)
be imprisoned not more than fifty (50) days at the discretion of thej
Judge or Jury trying the case.

SECTION 4.
I
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption..
