BE IT ORDAINED LY THE =.OARD OF C01I ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Sections 1, 2 and 3 of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE CRATING THE RANK AND POSITION OF DAY AND NIGHT CAPTAINS OF THE POLICE DEPARTI.ENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAY1,:2NT OF SALARIES FOR SUCH CAPTAINS OF POLIC-", v.,hich was adopted by the Board. of Commissioners on the 19t day of 7.7ay, 1925, be and the same is hereby amended so that said sections when so amended shall read as follows, to -crit: "Section 1. There is hereby created and established In the Police Department of the City of Paducah, Itentucky, the rank and position of two (2) day Gaptains of Police. "Section 2. There is hereby created and established in the Police Department of the City of Paducah, the rank and position of one (1) night captain of police. "Section 3. The duties of said day and night police captains shall be prescribed by the Chief of Police of the City of Paducah, and they shall perform such duties as he shall designate. SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
