increasing for several months, and nos now reached the point,
esoecialli on certain food products, that makes the purchase of
same practically prohibitive to families of small or :moderate

Con;ress to ;ive the cuestion , immediately, very serious thou -ht
�I and full investi7ation c.nd all :possible rea;edial le;islation,

That in order to assist said members of Congress in
makin_. any investi -ation t eJ m^,y undertake and that the public
locally may be advised, that the ?„ayor be requested to appoint a
Fact Finding Committee of not less tan five persons to study,
investigate and report to this body at the earliest possible
time the result of this investigation together with such
recommendations as they may deem helpful. Said Committee to
serve without pay,
