A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 3 OF A RESOLUTION ENTITLED:
"A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND EMPOWERING JAMES P. SMITH, CITY
MANAGER, TO RECEIVE BIDS FOR THE LEASING OF CERTAIN FURNISHINGS,
INCLUDING X-RAY EQUIPMENT, TO BE USED IN THE NEW RIVERSIDE HOSPITA
ADDITION; PRESCRIBING THE TERMS FOR THE LEASING OF SAID PROPERTY
WITH THE OPTION 'ID THE CITY TO BECOME THE PURCHASER UPON THE
COMPLIANCE WI`(H CERTAIN CONDITIONS TO BE STATED IN IHE ADVERTISE-
MENT FOR SAID BIDS; AND PRESCRIBING THE MANNER IN WHICH SAID BIDS
SHALL BE RECEIVED", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COLv,,;ISSIONER
ON SEPTEir3ER 9TH, 1941
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY .OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY!
SECTION 1.
That Section 3 of a Resolution entitled:
"A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND EMPOWERING JAI ES P. Sli_ITH, CITY
MANAGER, TO RECEIVE BIDS FOR THE LEASING OF CERTAIN FURNISHINGS,
INCLUDING X-RAY EQUIPMENT, TO BE USED IN THE NEP'! RIVERSIDE HOSPITA.
ADDITION; PRESCRIBING THE TERMS FOR 'RiE LEASING OF SAID PROPERTY
WITH THE OPTION TO THE CITY TO BECOME THE PURCHASER UPON THE
COMPLIANCE WITH CERTAIN CONDITIONS TO BE STATED IN THE ADVERTISEMFI
FOR SAID BIDS; AND PRESCRIBING THE MANNER IN WHICH SIAD BIDS
SHALL BE RECEIVED", which was adopted by the "oard of Commissioner,
on September 9th, 1941, be amended so that said Section as
amended shall r ead as follows:
"Section 3- One-fourth (1/4) of the amount representing
the total purchase price for said property qnd x-ray equipment
shall be paid thirty (30) days after delivery; provided, however,
no payment shall be made prior to January 15th, 1942 regardless
of the date on which said property is delivered, and the remainder
shall be paid in equal rental installments payable monthly thereafi
over a period of eighteen (18) months provided the City renews
its lease of said property and x-ray equipment as it will be
authorized to do under a Lease, Contract and Option to be executed
pursuant to the terms of an m dinance to be adopted by this Board,
with the option of the City to become the purchaser after an amount
equal to the total purchase price shall have been paid."

SECTION 2.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
