THA V due to the limited time remaininj for the
I levying of taxes for the year 1941, it is imperative that the
Ikoard of Commissioners be furnished with a copy of the school
14oardis bud;et with as little delay as possible; and,
TTEUAS, it is deemed necessary to adopt an ordinance
,Ifixing the tax rate at the next reEular meeting of the Poard to be
(held on April 22nd, 1941, and in order to adopt such ordinance on
that date the Ooard of !'ucation should be requested to file its
,budget with the City Glern not later than 12:00 oIrlock noon,
April 21st,

SECTIOT 1.
That the 7oard of naunatlon of the rjby of Paducah, Kentucky,
lbe, and it is hereby reqnested to file with h"dy Stewart, City
Clerk, not later than MOD o'clock Noon, April 21st, 1941, a copy
of the bytZet upon Onich said board determined the rate of taxes
for the year 1941, showinZ in said budget as required by Section
4399-40 of the Kentucky Statutes ''the amount of money needed for
1 current expenses, debt service, capital outlay, and other necessary
expenses of the schools during the s"cceodlnC fiscal year and also
the est mated total amount which will be required from the common
school fund and the amount that will be *needed to be raised by
itlocal taxation", and that said budget show the revenues anticipated
from all sources and the amount of anticipated expanditures for all
purposes.
LECTIOD 2.
This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
