hereof.
SECTION 2.
Thatone-half d' said assessment as a*ainst each lot as dhown by,
said assessment and estimate of said Engineer was due at the commence-
ment of said work and has heretofore been assessed, and the 'oard
of Commissioners having by this ordinance determined that said wog
has been half completed and the last half of sMLd assessment is noti
due to be paid, said last half shall be paid ,-:1-thin ten (10) days
after the adoption of this ordinance and unless so paid there shall
be added thereto a penalty of 61_ and a lien is declared to exAst
upon said lots and narcels of real estate for the proportionate
cost of sa:td improvements so assessed as herein provided in
addition to the assessment for the first bald of the cost thereof a,s
hereinbefore made; and the amount of said assessment shall bear
interest upon any part thereof that remains unpaid for ten (10)
days after the same is due to be paid as herein provided at the
rate of 6„ per annum in addition to the penalty aforesaid, which
lien shall be superior to all other liens except the liens for
State, Cour ty and City taxes.

The publication of ibis ordinanfe shall be notice to all pers
interested and du.e to pay said assessment, of the time and place
to pay the same. Said assessment will. be paid within ten (10)
days from the publication of this ordinance.
SECT1Oij 4.
This ordinance shall b e in full force and effect .from and
after its adoption.
