AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE TO
KELLY FRANKLIN OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE PURCHASED BY THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AT SALES FIELD BY T. A. MILLER MASTER COMMISSIONER
FOR SATISFACTION OF AD VALOREM IND PUBLIC IMPROVEiMI!NT ASSESSMENTS
LEVIED AGAINST SAID PROPERTY; PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
UNDER WHICH SAID PROPERTY SHALL BE SOLD, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER A DEED TO THE PURCHASER 1HEREOF
THAT WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, has become
the purchaser of certain real estate at sales held by T.A.Miller,
Master Commissioner of the McCracken Circuit Court, for satisfaction
of ad valorem and public improvement assessments levied against said
property; and,
WHEREAS, said property has since been offered for sale
by the City of Paducah at public auction, including tracts
described as follows:
Tract No. 2.
Lot #33 in Block No. 9, Addition "C1,7, located
at 415 South 3rd Street., said lot having a
frontage of 70 feet and 6 inches on 3rd Street,
and running back for depth 173 feet and 6 inches.
Tract Pio. 3.
Lot #157 and one-half of Lot #156 in Block 20,
Addition "D" or Lower Town located at 501 N 5th
St., sad lot having a frontage of 86 feet and 72
inches on 5th St., and extending back for depth
a distance of 165 feet.
Tract No. 4.
Lot #18 in Block No. 2 located at 323 nays Ave.,
said lot having a frontage of 40 ft on Hays Ave.,
and running back 150 ft to an alley.
Tract No. 7.
Part of Block#1 in Marouse Addition to the City of
Paducah, located at 926 Kentucky Avenue, said lot
having a frontage of 50 feet and 9 inches on Kentucky
and running back for depth 160 feet to an alley.
AND WHEREAS, the City received as bids at said sale the sum
of $600.00 for Tract No. 2, $605.00 for Tract No. 3, $25.00 for Tract
No. 4, and $180.00 for Tract No. 7, and all of said bids were
rejected; and
WHEREAS, Kelly Franklin, the bidder at said sale has now
offered to the City of Paducah the sum of $700.00 for Tract No. 2,
$700,00 for Tract No. 3, $50.00 for Tract No. 4, and $300.00 for
Tract No. 7, and all of the sums so offered being in excess of the
amount of the bids submitted at said sale;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMI
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:

That the aforesaid offers of Kelly Franklin be accepted
and in consideration of the sum of .$,1750.00 to be paid in cash to
the City of Paducah, Kentucky, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and empowered to execute for and on behalf of the City of
Paducah,a deed dbf conveyance to the said belly Franklin, conveying
to him the aforesaid Tracts Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 7, said deed of
conveyance to be executed with Covenant of Special ','larranty of Title,
and subject to any state and county taxes lawfully levied against
the same.
SEC TION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
