IN CONFLICT THEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY `71E BOARD OF COMIISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company or
corporation to pare: or leave standing a vehicle of any kind
on Kentucky Avenue between First Street and Third Street, on
Broadway between First Street and Second Street and on Second
Street between I{entucky Avenue and Jefferson Street in the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, between the hours of 11:00 o'clock P.M.
and 2:00 o'clock A.M. on any days of the week for any purpose,
and between the hours of 6:00 o'clock A.M. and 11:00 o'clock
A.M. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of each
week, and on Saturday between 6:00 o'clock A.M. and the hour fixed by
ordinance for closing the City Market on that day. Provided, how-
ever, that between the hours of 6:00 o'clock A.M. and 11:00 o'clock
A.M. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friddy of each week
and on Saturday between the hours of 6:00 o'clock A.M. and the
,hour fixed by ordinance for the closing of the City Market on
that day, any vehicle may be temporarily parked or stopped in
said area along the sidewalk or curb for the purpose of allowing the
transaction of business in the City Market and at business houses
in that vicinity, but any vehicle so parked or left standing shall
be allowed to so remain there not exceeding one hour. No vehicle
shallshall be permitted to be moved from one position in one block to
another position in the same block to avoid the provisions of this
ordinance, and the whole length of time any vehicle is so parked
or allowed to remain in any one block shall be construed as one
parking under the provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 2.
Where parking of vehicles is allowed on the streets under'
this and other ordinances of the City of Paducah, such vehicles
shall be parked parallel with the curb in the spaces provided for
that purpose, and it shall be unlawful for the operator of any
vehicle to park or leave the same standing at right angles to the
curb on any public street in said city.

SECTION 3.
Any person, firm, company or corporation violating the
provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than One
($1.00) Dollar nor more than Twenty-five (u25.00) Dollars, and
each time any vehicle is parked within any block for more than
one hour during the time prohibited in Section 1 hereof shall be
construed to be a separate offense.
SECTION 4.

All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
