WH'_1REAS, it is deemed advisable and for the best interest of
the City of Paducah that the boundaries be reduced by strik'ng out
ii certain lands now ovmed by _'!etcher. Terrell, and which lands are
(!embraced within the Corporate Limits of said city, and that the lin
!!of the corporate boundary on North 8th Street be re -located in orde
to exclude the lands now owned by the said Fletcher Terrell;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDA-17ED BY THE BOARD OF CO,lISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KEid MUCKY:
SECTION 1.

That the follczin- described ground or territory embraced
v:ithin the present corpcs ate limits of the City of Paducah be

excluded therefrom, and that the line of the corporate limits on
--orth 8th Street be re -located by striking off all of the lands
'or:,ned by the said Fletcher Terrell, the same being more
loarticularly described and defined as follows; to-,,,rjt:

,i Beginning at a point on the :icrtherly side
of i:orth 8th' Street at the South it -:;est corner
r.^ of a tract of land ov:ned by k;

in a Westwardly direction and along the worth
line of :orth 8th Street a distance of 2363.64
feet, more or less to the P:esterly line of the
land owned by Fletcher Terrell; thence North 5
degrees east 4560 feet to the Ohio River; thence
in an Easterly direction and with the meanderings
i of the Ohio River to the ;.'est property line cf
J.T.Kibler; thence in a Southwardly direction
and along the `;;est property line of J.T.Kibicr and
B.B.Hook 2900.21 feet to the point of beginning
on North 8th Street,
SEC TION 2
This ordinance shall be published in at least ten (10)
issues of the Official News -paper of ti -e C'ty of Paducah, and the

reduction of the City Limits as herein proposed shall not become
effective until the enactment Of all crdinnnce reducing the boundari
jas herein proposed, and such ordinance shall not be adopted until
the expiration of thirty (30) days after the adoption of this'
ordinance and the publication thereof as herein provided.
SECTION 3.
This cr dinance declaring the desirability and necessity
• of reducing the corporate limits of the City of Paducah as herein

adoption.
