OF $53295.00 FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND ERECTION OF A CLUB HOUSE

SMITH, CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AND EXECUTE FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE

CITY OF PADUCAH A PROJECT PROPOSAL OF THE WORK PROJECTS
ADMINISTRATION -UNDER WHICH PAY2,1EN T OF SUCH SUM SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF;
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the sum of $5,295.00 be and it is hereby set aside
and appropriated for the construction of the club house upon the
play ground known as the Paducah Municipal Golf Course, and the

amount so a3propriated shall be chargable to the amount set aside
for permanent improvements to public parks for the year 1940 upon
adoption of the Apportionment Ordinance for said year.

SECTION 2.
That the City manager be, and he is hereby authorized
and empowered to sign and execute for and on behalf of the City of
Paducah, a project proposal 6f the Work Projects Administration'
by the terms of which the City of Paducah shall agree that, if the
proposed work is undertaken, that the City of PaducEh will pay the
sum of $5,295.00, or such part of the entire cost of said project
as is not to be supplied from Federal Funds, and to otherwise
Ij obligate itself in accordance with all the terms and conditions
contained ins aid project proposal.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith,
are, to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
It being necessary to immediately execute the aforesaid
project proposal in order to secure Federal Aid for the construe -
tion of a Glib house upon the property of the Paducah Municipal
Golf Course, and to preserve and protect the public health and
safety of said city, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and
this ordinance shall be -in full force and effect from and after
