TO RICHARD T. BYRD OF A STRIP OF GROUND 10.94 FEET FRONTING ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF WASIIINGTON STREET AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
TVIENTY-NINTH AIM CLAPM STREETS, AND AUTHORIZING THE LAYOR AND THE
CITY CLERIC TO EXECUTE A DEED OF COIVEYAIdCE TO SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COLIMSIONERS OF TIM CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah accept the offer of Richard T.
(Byrd in the sum of %}60.00 for the purchase of a strip of ground
fronting 10.94 feet on the south side of Washington Street at the
southeast corner of the intersection of Twenty-ninth and Clark
Streets, said lot running back for depth a distance of 228.78
feet and being a portion of a lot conveyed to the City of Paducah
by the Trading Corporation by deed dated July 20th, 1946, and
of record in Deed Book 249, page 166, in the lacCracken
County Court Clerk's Office, and the i:iayor and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of
Paducah a deed under which said propert y shall be conveyed to the
said Richard T. Byrd with covenant of special warranty and subject
to any encumbrances or defects which an accurate survey might
show.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
its adoption.
