That upon the recommendation and request of the City Plar_nin, and ZoninZ Commission as shown by its final report embodied in a resolution adopted by it on :?ove,-rnber - 24th, 1939, certain property bounded on the 'forth by an alley between Vadison and Harrison Streets, on the East by the property line of 24th Street, on Yne South by an alley between ',^onroe and Jefferson Streets, and on tie ::est by the property line of 23 th Street, the same bein.- known as the "i'alloryy Sub -division?, as shown by plat prepared by Surveyor on Ocrober 1939, is hereby declared to be an exclusive residential district within the neamin of the City PlanninS and Zomir_„ Commission Law and to be used for residential purposes, and no business house or business shall be permitted within the area or zone. SECTION 2. In order to further promote the ;eneral welfare of the prople in said district or zone and to enhance the desirability of said residential zone or area, no residenbe shall be erected on any residential building plot nearer than th-irty (30) feet to �he front lot line, nor nearer than five (5) feet to any side lot line. No separate garage or other outbuilding shall be located nearer than one hundred and twenty-five (125) feet to the front lot line or nearer than three (3) feet to any side lot fine. SECTION 3.
