AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PLAT OF THE SUBDIVISION OF
PROPERTY KNOWN AS "RIDGE!4TOOD ADDITION" IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, WF ICH WAS ACCEPTED BY THE CITY PLANNING AND 'ZONING
COMMISSION BY ITS FINAL REPORT EMBODIED IN A RESOLUTION ADOPTED
ON SEPTEMBER 16th, 1946, AND APPROVING THE SAME IN CONSIDERATION �
OF THE AGREEMENT OF TIIB OCJNERS OF SAID PROPERTY TO DEDICATE' A CERT IN
PORTION THEREOF FOP. USE AS A PUBLIC STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That upon the recommendation and request of the City
Planning and coning Commission as shown by its final report
embodied in a Resolution adopted by it on Septerpber 16th, 1946,
the plat of the subdivision of property known as "Ridgewood
Addition"located between court Avenue and the property owned••
by Frances Houghland, the Park Realty Compathy -ddition and Sunset
Court Addition, be and the same is hereby approved, and said plat
is approved in consideration of the agreement of 'Winnie Potter
Smith and her husband, G. Tandy Smith, and Lee Potter Smith and
his wife, Charlott LackeIt Smith, the owners of all of the property
in said addition, (a copy of which agreement is filed herewith and
is to be treated as a part of this ordinance to the same extent
as if fully copied herein) to dedicate for tise as a public street the
hereinafter described property when a through street Eastwardly from
Court Avenue in said subdivision to another street or other street
shall have been established as a public street or thoroughfare, to wit:
"Lying and being in the "ity of laducah, McCracken
County, Kentucky, and more particularly described
as follows, to -wit:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot No. 1
of the Ridgewood subdivision to the City of
Paducah; thence along the Northerly line of said
Lot No. 1 and in a,Westerly direction 65 feet;
thence at right angles and Northwardly 50 feet to
the Southwest corner of the Potter Smith tract;
thence at right angles and along the Southerly line
of the Potter Smith tract and Eastwardly 65 feet
to a stone on the !westerly line of the i:. M. Olcott
tract; thence at right angles and Southwandly 50 feet
to the point of beginning.
Being a part of the same property conveyed to
Winnie Potter Smith, Lee Potter Smith and
Charlotte Lackey Smith, by Ruby Eennett Wilton,
et al, by deed dated April 20, 1946, and of record
in Leed Book 247, page 52, McCracken County Court
Clerk's Office."
SECTION 2.
That the Gity of Paducah accept the aforesaid a-reement
of Minnie Potter amith and her husband, C. Tandy Smith and Lee
Potter -mith and his wife, Charlotte Lackey-+mith, and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized to cause the original agreement to be

recorded in the T.,cCracken County Court Clerk's Office.
II SEC TIOfl 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
