A RESOLUTION AP0ENDING SECTION 1 OF A RESOLUTION ENTITLED:

TIONS AND A SEWAGE TREATi:.ENT PLANT" WHICH 'NAS ADOPTED BY THE
BOARD OF COMIISSIONERS OF ME CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, ON

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EOARD OF COhiMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SEC TION 1.
That Section 1 of a Resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION A
RUXING All APPLICATION FOR AN ADVANCE OF FUNDS FOR PLANNING A
PROJECT FOR INTERCEPTING SEVERS, SE',WAGE PUMP STATIONS AND A
SEWAGE TREATt•;LNT PLANT", which was adopted by the Loard of com-
missioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, on July 16, 1946,
be, and the same is hereby amended so that said section as
amended shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah declare its inten-
tion to construct within a period of four years from the date
hereof a system of intercepting sewers extending from George
Street and third Street along the Ohio hiver front to Terrell
Street and Sixth Street, including sewage pump stations at
George Street, Husbands Street, Clay Street and the 102 inch
sewer at Sixth Street and an outfall force main and sewage
treatment works to be located in the western part of the city,
in order to eliminate pollution in the Ohio River, and Wayne
C. Seaton, 14ayor of the City of Paducah, is hereby designated
and authorized to act as the representative of the City of
Paducah for the purpose of executing the application therefor,
and to otherwise act as liaison between the City and the Fed-
eral Works Agency."
SEC TION 2.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
