`17HEIREAS, George Katterjohn, doing business as the
Natterjoh?z Concrete Products Company*, and engaged in the business
of manufact�iring cement blocks, pre -cast points, lintels sills,
coping and other cement products, at -th and Jones Streets in the
Cit -Y of Paducah, Kentucky, has made application for�ezemption
from municipal to::ation on all of his manufacturing properties,
and,
', 3EAS, it appearing that the manufacturing plant of said
applicant is a bona -fide manufacturing enterprise and should be
exempt from taxation for a period of five (5) years as an
inducement to the location of said business in the City of Paducah;

SECTIOF 1.
That Goergp Y_atterjohn, doing business under the Firm name
Of Katterjohn Concrste Products Company, and all manufacturing
properties o"med by the said George ICatterjolm at Oth and Jones
Streets in the City of -Paducah, Kentucky, be exempt from the
payment to the City of aducah of ad valorem t a;_es and all
license taxes for a period of five (5) years, beg;'=in with the
year 1940.
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
