SECTION 1.
Tomb the City of Paducah accept the bid of Furry Fodge
for the sale to said city of 25,000 feet of No. 2 three inch
bridge lumber for the sum of ;';1,825.00 and that the City '.arager
be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the
purchase of said bridge lumber which shall be of the dimensions
as follows, namely. 91 pieces, 3 inches by 12 inches, 18 feet in
length; 117 pieces, 3 inches by 12 inches, 20 feet in length; and
the remainder of said 25,000 feet of lumber may be of various
widths but must be 3 inches thick and 18 feet in length.
SECTION 2.
The sum of ''1,325.00 is hereby a?pnopriated for payment
of the purchase price for the aforesaid limber, the amount thereof
to be char,ed to the fund a)propriated to the Street Department
u.der the apportionment ordinance for the year 1946.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be introduced ata re3ular meeting of
t' -ie Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one wee
for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted it shall be in full fox
and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
