AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION WHICH THE
. CITY MANAGER SHALL RECEIVE FOR HIS SERVICES AND TRANSFERRING FROM
THE CONTINGENT FUND TO THE APPROPRIATION FOR GENERAL GOVERNMENT A
SUFFICIENT FUND FOR PAYMENT TO THE CITY MANAGER OF THE SALERY
PROVIDED FOR UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM14ISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SEC TION 1.
That the City Manager of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
receive for his services the sum of Five Thousand ($5000.00) Dollar
per year, the payment of said salary in that amount to become
effective as of May 1st, 1946. He shall be paid the sum of Four
Hundred Sixteen and 67/100 ($416.67) Dollars per month at the same
time other city officials are paid.
SECTION 2.
That the sum of Seven Hundred and One & 36/100 ($701.36)
Dollars be transferred from the contingent fund to the account and
appropriation for general government under which the sum of Three
Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty-two Dollars ($3832.00) was
appropriated for payment of the City Managers salary for the year
1946, so that there will be sufficient funds in the appropriation
for general government for payment of the increased salary.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
