AN ORDINANCE AU'T'HORIZING THE SALE TO IN. E. YOUNG OF LOT 5
IN BLOCK 3 ON ADAMS STREET BETWEEN 29TH AND 30TH STREETS;
ALSO THE SALE TO 14A'TTIE ROSS OF LOT 14 IN BLOCK 13 OF R071LAND
PLACE; ALSO THE SALE TO JOHN G. TURNER OF LOT 17 IN BLOCK 1
OF OAKLAND TERRACE ADDITION; AND ALSO THE SALE TO LAVERPIL 71OODS
OF LOIS 38 AND 39 OF LINCOLN HEIGHTS SUB -DIVISION IN THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; AND AUTHORIZING THE 14AYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE PROPER INSTRUi�iLNTS OF CONVEYANCE TO SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINLD BY THE BOARD OF CO"iSISSIO.NLRS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENITUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah accept the offer of `A. E. Young
in the amount of X100.00 for the purchase of Lot 5 in Block 3
on the South side of Adams Street, said lot beginning 208 feet
west of the Southwest corner of the intersection of 29th and
Adams Streets, $50.00 of the purchase price to be paid in cash
and the balance at the rate of n10.00 per month with 6% interest;
also the offer of Mattie Ross in the amount of .`.;75.00 cash for the
purchase of Lot 14 in Block 13 of Rowland Place as shown by plat
recorded in Deed Book 40, Dage 366, 1;:cCracken County Court Clerk's
Office; also the offer of John G. Turner in the amount of
$50.00 cash for the purchase of Lot 17 in Block 1 of Oakland Terrace
Addition as shown by plat recorded in Plat Book "A", page 142
in the aforesaid Clerk'f Office; and also the offer of Laverne Woo s
in the amount of $50.00 cash for the purchase of Lots 38 and 39
in Block 5 of Lincoln Heights Sub -Division as shown by plat recorded
in Plat Book "A", pages 268 and 269 in the aforesaid Clerk's Office;
and the Mayor and City Clark are hereby authorized to execute proper
instruments of conveyance to said property upon the aforesaid term ,
and subject to such further terms, conditions and covenants as may
be required by the City Manager.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
