BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EOARD OF COJ-7.'I.iSIONER3 OF THE C=71
OF PADUrAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Kentucky has planned a pro. -ram
providing for the construction of fifteen armories upon land
donated by cities, said armories to be used by the Kentucky
National Cuard and also may be used by the citizens for civic
and community purposes; and,

That the City of :aducatt reserve for and offer to convey
to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Y ilitary Department, Armories
Corporation, as a site for an armory the tract of land located
at the northeast corner of 21st and i.:onroe Streets in the City
of Paducah, described as follo.-:s:
"BeU.inning at a point on the north property
line of I..onroe Street P96 feet nest of the
?:orthwest corner of the intersection of 19th
Street and i'onroe Street; thence in a westerly
direction and aloe, the :orth property line of
rtonroe Street 408.7 feet to the East property
line of 21st Street; thence in a northerly
direction and alonH the ERst property line of
21st Street 347.68 feet to the mouth property
line of i`adison Street; thence in an easterly
direction and aloe; the -youth property line of
I-.adison Street 407.87 feet to a point 296 feet
"'est of the "'est property line of 19th Street;
thence in a southerly direction parallsl with
19th Street 347.68 feet to the point of beZI nninC."
SEC TION 2.
That the Actin., City i•anager be authorized to advise the
?on. C. H. Way, Adjutant General of the Commonwealth, thgt the
City will execute and deliver a deed to the Armories Corooration
if the state will use the property as a site for an armory.
SECTION 3. ,
This '?es�lution shall be in full .force and effect from
gin,7 after its adoption.
