AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EMIPLOYLiENT OF YEAGER AND ';HI'CE
CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS TO.MAKE AN AUDIT OF THE ACCOUNTS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH FOR THE YEAR 1939, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYPaENT
THEREOF BY SAID CITY
A IEREAS, Yeager and 'Unite, Certified Public Accountants of the
City of Louisville, Kentucky, have offered to make an audit of the

—EREAS, the law requires that such audit be made annually and
it further appearing that the proposal of Yeager and 'Nhite is a

reasonable and fair offer and price for said work, IIO'A, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARi) OF CO' I.=SIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KEIITUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That Yeager and White, Certified Public Accountants be and they
are hereby employed to make an audit of the accounts and affiars of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the year 1939, in accordance with their
written proposal for the price of Eighteen Hundred ($1800.00) Dollars,
and the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into and sign a contract
,r3 th said public accountants for said service.
°:H�1 '� �r SECTION 2.
There is hereby appropriated and to be paid out of the general
funds of said City the sum of eighteen Hundred (P1800.00) Dollars to be

paid to said Yeager and '':kite as compensation of sAid audit as and when
made, and at such times and in such amounts as may be determined by the
Board of Commissioners, but not exceeding in all the sum of Eighteen
Hundred (?1800.00) Dollars. Said contract shall require the furnishing
of not less than twelve (12) copies of said audit to the City of
Paducah, one of which shall be received and filed by the Board of
Commissioners as a permanent record, one shall be furnished to the
City Treasurer, and one to the City Manager and the others to be
disposed of as may be directed by the Board of Commissioners.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the
Board of Commissioners and remain on file for not less than one week
in its completed forrp, and upon its adoption it shall be in full force
and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
