AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE HANDLING OF GARBAGE IN THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, AND PROVIDING PE,'IALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED EY TIIE BOARD OF COIbhIISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
Every person in the City of Paducah who maintains on his
premises a container or containers in which garbage is deposited
and kept until it is collected and disposed of, other than dry
trash, ashes and paper, shall place and keep such garbage in a
metal container or containers with tight fitting tops, and such
tops shall be so fitted and adjusted as to prevent any odor
therefrom.
SECTION 2.
Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance
shall upon conviction be fined in any sum not less than five (45.
Dollars nor more than twenty-five (?,25.00) Dollars.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
