AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE TO FURTHER REGULATE THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON

THIRD, FOURTH AND FIFTH STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENPUCKY,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OI' COI.I•;ISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That Section 1 of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE TO
FURTHER REGULATE lli PARKING OrVEHICLES ON BROADI"JAY STREET BET,7EEN
SECOND S?REET Ai.Ti SEVENTH STREET A:\D OiQ THIRD, FOUR`h AND FIFTH 311
IN THE CITY OF' PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, APiD PRESCRI_ING PENALTIES FOR TH
VIOLATION THEREOF", which .-.,as adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on May 22nd, 1933, by and the same is hereby amended so that said
section as amended shall read as follows:
"Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, compan
or corporation to park or leave standing any vehicle of any sort on
Eroadway Street between First Street and Seventh Street, on Third
Street between Kentucky Avenue and Jefferson Street, on Fourth Stre
between Kentucky Avenue and Jefferson Street and on r'ifth Street
between Kentucky Avenue and Jefferson Street in the city of Paducah
Kentucky, between the hours of seven o'clock A.T.I. and six o'clock P
on Idonday, Tuesday, ':rednesday, Thursday and Priday of each week, an
between the hours of seven o'clock and nine o'clock P.Y. on
Saturdays of each week. Provided however, that such vehicles may b
temporarily parked or stopped in said area along side the sidewalk
curb for the purpose of allowing the transaction of business, and a
vehicle so parked or left standing shall be allowed to so remain tt
not exceedin` one hour. No vehicle shall be permitted to be moved
from one position in one block to another position in the same bloc
so as to avoid the provisions of this ordinance, and the whole
length of time any vehicle is so parked or allowed to remain in ani
one block shall be construed as one parkin- under the provisions of
this ordinance. And provided further that this ordinance shall in
no way repeal or affect the ordinance heretofore enacted with refer
to the parking of automobiles or other vehicles on Broadway Street
the North side thereof for more than ten minutes between a point wt
is located twenty feet immediately west of the west property line
of Fifth Street and a point which is located 120 feet i"mediately
west of the 'J:est property line of Fifth Street;"

SECTION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be ih full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
