SECTION 1.
That upon the recommendation and request of the City
Planning and Zoning Commission.as shown by its final report
embodied in a resolution adopted by 1't on January 20th, 1946,
the following described property on North 13th Street is hereby
declared to be a business district within the meaning of the City
Planning and Zoning Commission Law.
"Beginning at the North east corner of the intersection of
Thirteenth street and Monroe street; thence in an easterly direction
and along the North line of Monroe street 170.87 feet; thence in a
northerly direction and parallel with Thirteenth street, 125.0 feet;
thence in an easterly direction and parallel with Monroe Street 53.13
feet; thence in a northerly direction and parallel to and 224.0 feet
from Thirteenth street a distance of 101.0 feet; thence in a weste ly
direction and parallel with hadison street 176.0 feet; thence in a
northerly direction and parallel with Thirteenth street and 48.0 fast
therefrom t.o the north line of Madison street; thence in a westerly
direction -with the north line of Madison street 7.0 feet; thence 1l a
northerly diirection 55.0 feet from and parallel to Thirteenth street
to the center line of the block between Madison street and Harriso
street; thence in an easterly direction and along said center line

SECTION 2. Q
In order to further promote the general welfare of tte
people in said district or zone and to enhance the desirability
of same, all property within said area is subject to the �Z�9
following restrictions;

(1) That no business building be permitted to be
constructedon any of said property that will
cost less than $5000.00/
(2) That no building permit be issued by the Building
Inspector within the boundaries of the district
described above until the plans of said building
be submitted to and approved by the City Planning
and Zoning Board.
SECTION 3.
Any property owner, tenant or other person who erects,
constructs or reconstructs any building in violation of or
contrary to the aforesaid provisions of this ordinance, shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall
be fined in any sum not less than x10.00 nor more than $100.00
for each offense so committed and each day such offense is committ�
shall be deemed a separate offense and shall be subject to a
separate penalty under the provisions hereof, or the person so
offending or so guilty of violation of the provisions hereof, may,
in addition to such fine be imprisoned nor more than fifty (50)
days at the discretion of the Judge or Jury trying the case.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
