iublic Accountants for the auditing of all accounts of the City of
Psc�ueah for the year 1945, and it arpcarinZ that the bid of Yea_-er
cord in the amount of 12300.00 is the lowest and best; and,
7,1EREAS, the law requires that an audit be prepared
annually, such audit of the accounts of all city officers to be

That 'ieazer F ord, Certified •ublic r.ccountants, ;,c
and they are hereby employed to r. -:a e an audit of the accounts
and affairs of the City of Paducah, ICTn tacky, for the year 1945 in
accordance with their written proposal for t:je :�rics of ,;3300.00
and the City is ;.^rely autnorized to enter into and si,-n
a contract with said p:Llic accountants for the preparation of
said audit. Said Contract shall provide for the preparation of
an audit in compliance with all of the provisions of Jection 29,55
of the Kentucky revised Statutes, and with the provisions of lhapte
155 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1944, and said ruditors -hall
furnish to the City in pamphlet form 50 copies of said audit,
one (1) to be published in the official new -,-,paper, and a copy
to be available to each voter who may apply for same at the office
of the City Vanager. Jaid contract shall also provide for the
furnishing t^ the city ei,^ht (8) copies of the transcript of the
auditor+s work sheet, one (1) copy to be furnished to the iiayor,
the members of the Eoard of Commissioners, the City Manager and
the City Treasurer.
3ECTIOI: 2.
This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting
of the Board of Com:nissloners and remain on file for not less than
one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which
it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted, said
ordinance shall 'Le In full force and effect ten (10) days thereafte .
