OF QUALIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS FOR THE IR EPARATION OF AN AUDIT
OF ALL ACCOUNTS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, IN THE YEAR 1945,
and prescribing the manner in which said bids shall be received
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
IOF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That H. G. McElwee, City Manager of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be and he is hereby authorized and empowered to receive
bids of Qualified Public Accountants for the preparation of an
audit of all accounts of the City of Paducah, said audit to be
prepared in compliance with all of the provisions of Section
89,650 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes. Each bid shall set forth
the amount whict[ the bidder proposes to charge for an audit
and for preparing a report showing the result of an examination
of all accounts of the city and of all of its officers, and for
furnishing the city in pamphlet form fifty (50) copies of said
-3udit, one (1) to be published in the official newspaper and a
copy to be available to each voter who may apply for same at the
cffice of the City manager, and also for furnishing to said city
Sight (3) copies of the transcript of the Auditorys work sheet,
)ne copy to be received by the Board of Commissioners as a permanent
record, one copy to be delivered to the Mayor, to each of the
nembers of the Board of Commissioners, the City Manager and the
;ity Treasurer.
SECTION 2.
Bids shgll be received by the City Manager not later than
ovember 26th, 1945 at 10:00 o'clock A.M., and all bids must be
ubmitted under seal. He shall advertise for bids bf notice posted
t the City Hall door and by inserting notice of the request for
ids in at least one issue of the Sun -Democrat, said notice to be
zblished at least seven (7) days prior to the opening of bids.

SECTION 3.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids,

under the terms of this Resolution until the acceptance of a bid a d
the adoption of an ordinance authorizing the execution of a contra t
for such employment.
SECTION 4.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
