AN ORDINANCE 1'iiAKING IT UPILAWFUL FOR MINORS TO ENTER
PRER:ISE3 LICENISED TO SELL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR TO PURCHASE
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, OR TO PSISRIZPRESENT THEIR AGE FOR THE PURPOSE
OF OBTAINING ALCOHODIC LEVERAGES, APID I-ROVIDING PENALTY FOR
VIOLATION THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LOARD OF C01"14ISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
It shall be unlawful for any male person between
the age of 17 years and 21 years, and any female person between
18 years and 21 years of age, to enter any premises licensed
for the sale of alcoholic beverages for the purpose of purchasing
or having served or delivered to him or her, any alcoholic
beverages.

SECTION 2.
It shall be unlawful for any male person between
the age of 17 years and 21 years, and any female person between
18 years and 21 years of age, to purchase or attempt to purchase
or have another purchase for hi- or her, any alcoholic beverages
at any premises licensed for the sale of alcoholic beverages.
SECTION 3.`
It / shall be unlawful for an male y person between
the age of 17 years and 21 years, and any female person between
18 years and 21 years of age, to misrepresent his or her age
for the purpose of inducing any retail licensee or any employee
of any retail licensee, to sell or serve any alcoholic beverage
to him or her.
SECTION 4.
I't shall be unlawful for any parent or luvrdian who
intentionally shall permit any minor, child of which he or she
may be the parent or, guardian, to violate any provision or

p on s o this ordinance.
SECTION 5.
Any person who shall be adjudged guilty of the violation
of thie ordinance shall he fined not less than :10.00 nor more than
;?100.00 for each and every offense.
SECTION 6.
Nothing in this ordinance contained shall excuse or release
the owner, proprietor, employee or person in charge, or any
Licensed premises in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, w1lere alcoholic)
beverages are sold, from the restrictions, requiremen4a and penalties
)f any other ordinance or ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,

or of any statutes of the State of Kentucky relating to the viola-
tions pertaining to alcoholic beverages.
SEC TION 7.
It shall be the duty of overt' retail licensee to
display at all times in a prominent place a printed card which
shall read substant-ally as follows:
";^WARNING TO b;INORS
You are subject to a fine up to ".1:100.00
under the ordinance of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, if you enter premises where alcoholic
beverages are sold for the purpose of purchasing
or having served to you any alcoholic beverages,
or if you purchase alcoholic beverages or mis-
represent your age for the purpose of purchasing
or obtaining alcoholic beverages."
SECTION 8.
This ordinance shall be in full force'Oand effect from and
after its adoption.
