A RESOLUTION EXEMPTING FROM I.IUNICIPAL TAYATIOif i Oli A PERIOD
OF FIVE EARS THE MANUFACTURING PROPERTIES AILD L-U:'iIIX' 3S 02 THE
CRADDOCK CMINIIIG AND PRESERVE COMPANY LOCATED AT T11E CORNER OF
8TH AND JONES STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCh7(
111HEREAS, the Craddock Canning and Preserve Company has
become the Lessee of a certain lot or pa--ocol of land located
at the corner of 8th and Jones ;treets in Paducah, I:entucky,
and said Company will establish and operate on said lot or
parcel of land a plant for the tannins* and freezing of food;
and,
VIHEREAS, said Company having submitted to the Loard of
Commissioners its application for exemption from municipal
taxation on all of its manufacturing properties and business
located at 8th and Jones Streets; and,
':T"EREAS, it an:)earing that the manufacturing plant of
said applicant is a bona fide manufacturing enterprise and should
be exempt from taxation for a period of five years as an
enducement to iLs location in said city;

OF ?HE CITY OF PADUCAH, K'�§ITUCKY:
SECTIO -11 I.
That the Craddock Canning and Preserve Company and all
manufacturing properties owned by said company at the corner
of 8th and Jones Streets in the City of Paducah, -Kentucky,
be and the same is hereby exempt from the payment to the City
of I`aducah of all license taxes and ad valorem taxes, with
the exception of taxes due and payable for school purposes,
for a period of five (5) years beginning with the assessment
due 'in the year 1946.
SECTION 2.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect.from
and after its adoption.
