TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND DIRECTING THE PROPER OFFICI
OF TME CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, 'Ci -EXECUTE AND DELIVER TO THE
UNITED STATES OF AIrIERICA A PROPER CONVEYANCE, OR IN THE ALTERNA
TO ACqUIESCE IN TIIE CONDEMNATION OF SAID LAND 3T_ -THE UNITED STA
OF AMERICA AND AUTHORIZING ENTRY UPON SAID REAL ESTATE FOR THE
PURPOSES OF COMMENCING CONSTRUC^_T_ON.
WHEREAS, it is deemed by the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, that it is to the best interests of the
City of Paducah and of its citizens that title to the hereinafter
described real estate be vested in the United States of America ei her
by conveyance or through the exercise of the power eminent domain
by the United States. of America for such purposes as the
-may desire to mace thereof; and
:IHEREAS, it is to the best interests of said City of Paducah
that constructio of such project as is desired by the United Stat
of America should commence immediately; .
THERFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMINLISSIONERS OF
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION'l.
That the hereinafter described real estate, situated in
McCracken,County, State of Kentucky, shall be conveyed to the
United States of America for a consideration of one dollar and o
good and valuable consideration, by general warranty deed, to be
used for such purposes as the Government may deem necessary and
advisable;
SECTION 2.
That the land so authorized to be conveyed is described as
follows:
A tract or parcel of land lying and being in the City of
Paducah, Mlc Cracken County, State of Kentucky, more part»:
described as follows:
Beginning at a monument markinZ the intersection point of the
south line of Kentucky Avenue 66 feet wide) and the east lin
of 10th Rtreet (Murrell Boulevard, 100 feet wide): thence
South 31 451 along the east line of 10th Street a distance
of 160 Feet to a monument which is the intersection of the
cast line of 10th Street and the north line of a pbblic alley
thence along the north line of said alley North 58 121 45"
East a distance of 346.5 feet to a noint.markod by an iron sp
which is the intersection of the north line of said public al
and the west line of 9th Street (60o feet wide); thence along
the west line of 9th Street North 31 451 49est a distance of
feet to a point which is the intersection of the west line of
9th Street and the south line Kentucky Avenue; thence along
the south line of Kentucky Aveneu South 580 121 45" West a
distance of 346.5 feet to the place of teginning. The above
described tract contains approximately 1.27 acres.

SECTION 3.
That VJa,yne C. Seaton, the Mayor of the City of Padycah, State of
Kentucky, together with any other proper officers of the City -.,of
Paducah, is hereby authorized and directed to immediately execute
and deliver duplicate general warranty deeds conveying to the
United States of America the hereinforth described lands and
real estate.
SECTION 4.
That in the event the United States of America considers i
necessary or advantageous to its interests to have such land acqu
throughecondemnation proceedings, the said City of Paducah and th
officials thereof hereby acquiesce in the condemnation thereof an
find that the sum of one dollar will be just compensation for su
land.
SECTION 5
The United States of America is hereby granted full
authority and permission for itself and its representatives, ageni
servants or contractors to immediately enter upon said lands and
construct thereon such building and improvements as it may deem
desirable, and the United States of "merica shall not be required
obtained title to said land prior to such entry.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect fr.dm:�aad
after its adoption.
