A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF D. P. MC GEE AND
WALTER GRAY IN THE SUM OF $137.50 FOR DAIdAGES TO A TRAFFIC
LIGHT POST CAUSED BY TIIE COLLISION OF THE SAID D. P. McGEEIS
AUTOMOBILE IVITII SAID LIGHT POST ON OCTOBER 17, 1944, AND
AUTHORIZING THE I4AYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND
DELIVER TO D. P. McGEE AMD WALTER GRAY A RELEASE IN CON-
SIDERATION OF THE SETTLEMENT TO BE MADE BY THEM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMM SIGNERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah accept the offer of D. P.
McGee and Walter Gray in the sum of x137.50 as settlement in
full on account of all damages sustained by the city when an
automobile owned by D. P. McGee and driven by Walter Gray
collided with a traffic light post at the northwest corner
of the intersection of 9th & Jefferson Streets in said city
on October 17th, 1944, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, to
execute and deliver to the said D. P. McGee and !,'alter Gray
an instrument of writing releasing them from all claims,
demands, actions and causes of actions which the City of
Paducah has against them as a result of said accident.
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
