BE IT ORDAINED BY TIIE BOARD OF C01.111I.33I0NsR3 OI' TIjL, CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah join with the County of ::7cCracken, State of Kentucky, in the execution of a lease to the Paducah Airport Corporation of the present Paducah -McCracken county Airport property, and the 14ayor and City Clerk are hereby author- ized to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, a lease which shall be in words and figures as follows, to -wit: "In consideration of 1;-10.00 per annum, cash in hand paid, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and the further consideration that the above described airport shall be maintained, operated and developed by the Paducah Airport Corporation of Paducah, Kentucky, out of such funds as the latter may receive from time to time from any or ever;; source and the benefit that the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the County of T.1cCracken Kentucky, shall receive from the maintenance, operation and development of said airport aforesaid, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the County of EcCracken, Kentucky, hereafter known as Lessors, lease unto the Paducah Airport Copporation of Paducah, Kentucky, hereafter known as lessee, the Pad,:cah-McCracken County Airport, lying and being in L.cCracken County, Kentucky, more particularly described as follows; 'A certain tract of land, containing 500 acres, more or less, located approximately eight (8) miles west of the City limits of Paducah, Kentucky, on United States Highway 'Io. 60, and being the same property conveyed by the Paducah Airport Corporation to the City of Paducah and the County of T.1cCracken by deed dated October 12st, 1941 and of record in Deed book 212, page 155 in the office of the County Court lerk of tcCracken County, Kentucky., "This lease shall continue in full force and effect, up- on the conditions herein stated, beginning as of the date of the acceptance of this lease agreement by the lessors and as of the Hate of the release of the airport Ly the United States of America, and continuing until 10 years feom said date. "This lease may not be sublet,, in whole or in part, without the joint consent of the City of Paducah and the County of McCracken. "Said Lessee shall have the exclusive right to operate, manage, and control said airport or may enter into a contract pro, for its operation, management and control by any other person, firm or corporation, and said lessee may nter into all a.reement+ involving t?le expenditure of money thereon. "The above described real estate shall be used for the development of a municipal airport and for no other purpose, but no part of the funds derived from the maintenance and development of said airport shall be paid to etather of said lessors, but shal: be r:xpended for the construction and maintenance of buildings and facilities thereon. It is further understood and agreed that the lessors shall not be liable for debts created by the lessee or by any person, firm or corporation with whom said lessee contract: nor shall the lessors be liable or assume any liability for paymet of damages, either to the person or tb^the property of another, ai in€ out of any accident which may occur at said airport on accoun' of the negligence of the lessee, or of any other person, firm or corporation who may, by his or its contract with the le.ses, be charged with the responsibility for the maintenance and operation of said airport. "A renort of the management of the airport by the eaducal Airport Corporation shall be submitted to the City of Paducah and the County of McCracken every 6 months." SECTION 2.
