OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City i.;anager be, and he is hereby authorized and
empowered to advertise for bids for the purchase of ,asol'ine acid
oil to be used by the City of taducah :in all of its 7overnmental
operations for a period o^ four (4) months beginning .Tune 15th,
1944.x Iie ill advertise for regular !*asoline and also for both
nremium and first Zrade -toLo_ oil, sealed in drums, by notice poste
up at the city hall door and by insertinC no :ice of the request for
bids in at least one issue of the :Sun-Tjemocrat. The notices shall
be posted and published at least seven days prior to the opening of
bids and no bid shall be opened trithin ten (10) days from the date
on which this resolution is adopted. lie bid shall be received
after the hour fixed in the notice for the opening of bids. All
bids received by the City 'tanager up to the time fixed in the faotic
for the openin, of bids shall be filed with the board of commission
who may let the bid to the lowest respon.>ible bidder or bidders.
The right shall be reserved to reject any and all bids and all bids
shall provide a guarantee aCainat adva:.ce in the market price, and
also of a reduction in price in the event of a decrease in the
market price of Gasoline and oil.
SECTION 2.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
