A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF HAND-HELD
MOTOROLA RADIOS FOR THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT IN AN AMOUNT
OF $374,262.28 THROUGH THE KENTUCKY MASTER AGREEMENT VENDOR
MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL
DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SAME
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for and received a 2020 Kentucky
Office of Homeland Security through Municipal Order No. 2445 for the purchase of hand-held
radios for the Paducah Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah is now ready to purchase the hand-held radios
for the Paducah Police Department; and
WHEREAS, said equipment is available through the Kentucky Master Agreement
No. 758-1800000118 with Motorola Solutions; therefore, competitive bidding is not required.
KENTUCKY:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to make payment to
Motorola Solutions in the amount of $374,262.28 for the purchase of hand-held radios through
Kentucky Master Agreement No. 758-1800000118.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute all documents
related to the purchase authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be covered by 2020 Kentucky Office of
Homeland Security Grant in the amount of $314,450, with the remaining $59,812.28 being paid
from 2020 Homeland Security Grant — Radios, Account Number P001 18.
SECTION 4. This Municipal Order shall be ofve from and after the date of
its adoption.
