FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PAD'UCA:'. AN AGREEMENT BY

of the City of Paducah are being improved and will be improved
by the State High: -.ay Commission of the State of Kentucky, with
funds made available Lmder the National Industrial Recovery Act,
on condition that the City of Paducah will provide for the proper
maintenance after the completion of said improvements to said
highw ys, and,
WHEREAS., the State Highway Commission of the State
of Kentuc,.y has submitted and will submit agreements by the terms
of which the City of Paducah shall underta7,e to and ;:ill maintain
such highways so constructed, reconstructed and improved,

BE IT RESOLI/-•D BY THE BOARD OF CO::::I:'SIONFRS OF THE
CITY OF P^.DUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That L. V. Bean, City Manager of the City of Paducah,
be and i;e is hereby authorized, empo-wered and directed to execute,
for and on behalf of the City of Paducah certain contracts v.1th
all recuired copies thereof by the terms of which all highways
constructed within the corporate limits of the City of Paducah
under the provisions of and r:ith funds made available by the
National Industrial Recovery Act, and which contracts and
agreements are to be executed between the City of Paducah and
the State Highway Commission of the State of Kentucky.
SECTION 2.
Said contracts so executed by the City 1--lanager of the
City of Paducah as provided in Section 1 hereof shall be
continuous and b.indin.v obligation upon the City of Paduca`i for
the cause named herein from the tir?e the same shall be acce?ted
^nd approved by the State Highway Commission of the St�a3 of
Kentucky.
